MixNote Privacy Policy

1. In short
MixNote does not collect your notes on our servers. Notes live on your device and, if you choose, in your own Google Drive (a hidden app-only folder), encrypted on your device first. Neither we nor Google can read them.
2. Where your notes go

Notes may contain text, handwriting, photos, PDFs and audio recordings, stored only in the places above.
3. Permissions

4. Third parties
- Google Drive — in Drive mode, encrypted files only.
- Google Play Billing — Pro purchase and restore. Google handles payment; we only check product ID and status.
- ML Kit Digital Ink — the recognition model is downloaded from Google; recognition runs on device and no handwriting or note content is sent. ML Kit may send feature usage and diagnostics data to Google (ML Kit terms).
5. Crash reports & usage stats
MixNote sends no crash reports or usage statistics. If we add them later, they will be off by default and this policy will be updated first.
6. Retention & deletion
- Settings › Delete account & data erases notes on the device and the Drive app folder.
- Uninstalling removes on-device data. The Drive app folder can also be removed in Drive › Settings › Manage apps.
- Pro purchase records stay with Google Play (for restore).
7. Children
Not directed at children under 14.
